Khan el-Khalili Day Tour
Cairo’s 600-year-old medieval bazaar — gold, spices, papyrus, and the best street coffee in Egypt.
Inside Cairo's Greatest Bazaar
Khan el-Khalili has been the trading heart of Cairo since 1382 AD. Today it’s a labyrinthine quarter of covered alleys, ancient khans (merchant warehouses), gold souks, spice markets, perfume bazaars, and papyrus galleries — still functioning exactly as it has for six centuries.
Our guided tour takes you beyond the tourist stalls into the authentic craft quarters — the goldsmiths, the tentmakers, the copper artisans — and to the hidden coffeehouses where locals have been drinking ahwa (Egyptian coffee) since Ottoman times.
